The Inspired Learning Summit celebrates Year One of the UNSW 2025 Inspired Learning Initiative (ILI). Based within the Portfolio of the Pro Vice Chancellor Education (PVCE), the ILI is an initial 5-year strategic investment of $55.5M comprising nine interconnected programs to deliver the distinctive UNSW Scientia Education Experience. This year’s theme explores the Digital Uplift and Students as Partners initiatives.

Shara is the Founder and CEO of Market Clarity, an award-winning technology analyst firm that provides insight, intelligence and advice on all aspects of the telecom and emerging technologies markets, and has been providing innovative research and strategic consulting on telecoms and technology throughout her successful career.
The Inspired Learning Initiative and Scientia Education Experience have been designed and implemented through the PVCE Portfolio in partnership with Faculties and Schools. The Portfolio provides leadership in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives in education through the enhancement of curriculum design, development, delivery, and evaluation, including the effective use of online technologies, the design and management of effective learning environments, and the development and renewal of academic policies and quality assurance processes. The Portfolio engages with faculties, divisions and student groups to re-shape UNSW Sydney's education and realise the 2025 Strategy.
Mark is the author of the $55.5M Inspired Learning Initiative. His portfolio, which includes 60+ academic and professional staff in Educational Design and Development, Educational Evaluation, and Educational Technology Services, respectively, is spearheading the Digital Uplift and Students as Partners initiatives (in 2017 including 163 student partners across 9 projects). Mark's portfolio works in Partnership with the university community to implement the Scientia Education Experience and 2025 strategy for UNSW Sydney's sustained competitive advantage.
